Think pink this spring, again

Does pink ever go out of style? I do not think. This perennially popular color was seen all over the catwalks once again, just like last spring. And for those of us who love pink, that’s good news. Here are 5 new items that will make any pink lover happy.

Wasabi Portable Color Printer
Roughly the size of a box of kitchen matches (4.8″ x 2.9″ x 0.9″), the Wasabi Mobile Printer from Dell is easy to take anywhere. It prints wirelessly (or via USB) and produces 2×3 stickers without edges.prints using a new inkless technology called “ZINK” (which stands for “zero ink”).You have to use the special ZINK paper, which looks like regular white photo paper, but has dye crystals embedded in it that, when exposed to heat in the printer, produce an image. The Wasabi comes in pink, blue, or black, and costs $99.

Fluorescent Pink Diana F+ Camera
When I made the switch to digital after years of shooting on film, I found myself with quite a bit of unused film on my refrigerator door, getting closer to its expiration date every day. I couldn’t bear to just throw it away, and kept hoping that I would come up with a creative way to use it.

If you ditched your film camera when the digital craze started and now want to go back to basics from time to time, check out the cameras from the Lomographic Society. Cheap, plastic and with a wide variety of models and lenses that produce incredibly creative images, the cameras offered here are just plain fun.

A new addition this spring is the hot pink Diana F+ medium format camera. If 120 film isn’t your thing (although I love the square negatives it produces), don’t worry, you can also get both 35mm and instant. This retro-cool plastic camera with removable lens (other lenses like fisheye and telephoto are available) gives you gorgeous, soft-focus, vignetting and saturated images that definitely have a look from yesteryear. The camera is available in many different configurations, but the basic kit, which includes the camera, an external flash, the hardcover book “More True Tales & Short Stories” Diana Vignettes, colored gel filters (for the flash), 12 and 16 shot format frames, shutter lock, neck strap, and lens cap, costs $105.

Sony VAIO JS PCs
This iMac lookalike comes in a sleek pale pink (as well as silver, black, and bronze), and I have to say I like the design. Other things that I like, besides the fact that it takes up much less space than normal desktop computers, are: the 20.1″ LCD screen, 4 GB of memory, the Intel Pentium dual-core 2.50 GHz processor and 2 MB of L2 cache, 500 GB processor (7200 RPM) SATA hard drive, and integrated microphone and webcam (with face-tracking technology).

Dell’s New Inspiron Desktops
I’m surprised it’s taken so long for colorful desks to appear on the market. There’s no limit to the colors you can get on a laptop, but so far, it’s been black or silver for desktops only. Well, that’s slowly changing, with the arrival of the previous VAIO and now Dell’s new Inspiron line. They have only been released in China so far, but are scheduled to appear in the US market later this spring.

8-color options include “Promise Pink” candy color, which supports the Susan G. Komen Foundation (Dell donates $5 per sale to breast cancer research). The customizable Inspiron will be available as a mini tower and slim tower, starting at $299.

Pokens – Digital Business Cards
Do you spend a lot of time on social networking sites? Starting to get hard to keep track of your IDs and other information? Then check out Pokens, keychain-sized figurines (with a USB plug) that can store all that information in one place for you. But not only that, by having your Poken high-five another Poken, you can easily exchange your social media profiles with friends, making it easy for them to quickly find you on Facebook, MySpace, etc. And the creators of this little device have thought of everything: if someone asks you to Poken with them, but you really don’t want to, instead of rudely saying no, just press the palm of your Poken twice and it will go. in “discreet” mode. ”, and all they will get is a “Ghost Card”, without their information. They cost around $20 and 2 of the figures are available in pink: the Geisha and the Piggy.
