The Lebron James Ripple Effect and Dirk Nowitzki’s Reverse Ripple Effect

Lebron is my favorite basketball player and I won’t say anything negative about this superstar.

I have been following him for a few years and I am amazed at his basketball skills.

I’ve seen him struggle trying to win an NBA championship. When the Cavaliers were playing in the 2008 NBA East elimination game against the Boston Celtics when Game 5 came around, I could see that he was tired and maybe mentally gave up. He believed that a spectacular basketball player could not win a championship. You have to be surrounded by quality players.

And when he came to the Miami Heat. I said great. Now LeBron can be surrounded by great players: Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.

His method of announcing his departure and going to the Miami Heat was questionable and that’s where all the criticism of LeBron began. He didn’t bother me.

It was fun to watch in Miami as smoke filled the room and a huge celebration ensued before the Heat even played a single game. Lebron also said that he was going to win multiple championships. That really started Lebron’s haters. Now all the pressure was on LeBron and the Miami Heat.

It never deserved all the criticism it received all year. Didn’t Michael Jordan and Kobe have an ego and rightly so? LeBron is not just a great player, he is a phenomenal player. When he said that he was going to win multiple championships, I know he believed it in his heart.

No matter what Lebron did, he never deserved to be put down and criticized by people.

So he didn’t win a championship, so what? No one expected the Heat to make it as far into the playoffs as they did. LeBron deserves to win a championship!

LeBron created a ripple effect in the NBA forever. Many of the 2010 free agency basketball players left for other teams so they could win a championship. Real great players want to win a championship and not just play for money. What’s the use of winning matches if you don’t reach the final?

A lot of trades were done in the trade deadline of 2010 and 2011. The great basketball players wanted to go to a team to win.

Now that Lebron hasn’t won a championship, basketball players can now stay where they are and just surround themselves with quality players, not just Allstars or Superstars. Just look at the Dallas Mavericks winning the NBA championship with superstar Dirk Nowitzki and quality players around him.

Lebron created a ripple effect and Dirk Nowitzki created the reverse ripple effect and they both changed the NBA forever.
