The biggest general aviation boom in decades is about to begin – in China!

It appears that China is beginning to loosen its controls over its airspace and will open it up to general aviation. This could be a very smart move for China and its growing aviation manufacturing industry. In fact, in my opinion, this could be the biggest general aviation boom in decades, perhaps in all of human history, so I hope the Carlisle Group gets involved and partners with a general aviation manufacturing unit. in China, together with SAIC. .

In fact, in a recent article on Aerospace-Technology Online, there was some insight into what’s going on right now. The title of that article is; “China will open low-altitude airspace for civil aircraft”, and was published on November 17, 2010. So far, the plan is to have only some areas open to civil aircraft at altitudes between 4,000 and 1,000 meters or around 12,000 feet. and 3,000 feet to avoid commercial and military air traffic, while avoiding too much noise on the ground – all of this will happen in 2011.

Cessna Aircraft Corporation will build its very light aircraft there now, instead of Wichita KS, and many wealthy Chinese can buy corporate aircraft from the US now, new and used, which will be a huge boost to sales. Of course, over time, China will take over that industry and make and sell all those domestically made planes around the world, something the US excels at (making planes). This will eventually kill off our general aviation manufacturing sector in the US, but temporarily it could be a very good thing for our general aviation industry here at home, which hasn’t had a good decade in a long time.

This could get very interesting, the future always is, especially when it comes to China. General aviation on planet earth will never be the same again. Our Think Tank agrees. Please consider all of this.
