Does television influence sex? TVs are more desirable than sex

A television is a great source of information and entertainment for most of the people in the world today. It has invaded every home down to the bedroom. Many people, especially men, are obsessed with a good piece of the latest televisions. An electronics retailer in the UK published a survey that was quite puzzling, to say the least. Almost half of British men would happily exchange a free 50-inch plasma TV in exchange for giving up sex for six months. This is a strong indicator that televisions are more desirable than sex. It shows to what extent television influences sex today. Half of the British male population is a staggering number to say that they would be more than willing to banish sex from their lives just to watch TV.

Television has reached the bedroom and has had devastating negative effects on a couple’s sex life. Introducing a television in the bedroom cuts sexual intercourse in half. All the focus is on the screen instead of having a rather sumptuous time for sex. The bedroom setting should have all the trimmings of a safe haven. A piece setting where a couple can escape after a hard day’s work. It should be a bit dark and sexually attractive, if not romantic. After all, it is the main theater where sex is played. All of this is violated the moment a television is introduced. All attention is now focused on him. Couples hardly prioritize each other. A perfect situation where televisions are more desirable than sex.

Too much television is driving a terrible gap between married couples and couples. In the United States, the reigning champions of television around the world, people barely look up from television screens. Relations have turned tepid with television taking center stage. Television tarnishes our sex life, since it takes all the leading role in our relationships. The good or bad thing about a television is that it also brings the things that are missing in our relationships to our doorstep. It is only on television that a perfect man meets a perfect woman in the right place at the right time. Go out, fall in love and live happily ever after. Isn’t that what we all long for? A love life quite similar to a story. It’s no wonder that televisions are more desirable than sex.

It is true that televisions are more desirable than sex, but this is a case of misplaced priorities. There is a very strong link between asexual marriages and technology that is always ubiquitous. There are many multi-tasking in our relationships. Our attention and sense of focus are too divided to pay much attention to something as committed as a relationship. You are getting on our way of really focusing on one another. There is no time to have calm and satisfying sex with our partners. We do not give the necessary importance to sensual activities and we do not appreciate sexuality in our marriage in the way it should be appreciated.
