If you’d like to be a yoga teacher, you can start with a 200-hour course and move up to the next level with a Yoga Teacher Training RYS advanced. In either case, you must complete a minimum of 100 teaching hours and submit these to your instructor before applying for an advanced course. The next step is to become registered with the YTT and register with the Yoga Alliance. The more advanced training is also available through other means, including 500-hour programs from one or two schools.

RYS advanced training is also known as YTT500. The program requires a minimum of 300 hours of classroom teaching. The Core Curriculum is split into modules, and the second half is dedicated to Electives. The Core Curriculum is required for all candidates. This course is either one course or a combination of two courses. It is designed for individuals who wish to become a yoga teacher, or who are already working in the field.

In order to complete an RYS advanced training, you must have completed a 200-hour course. YTT-300 training focuses on advanced yogic teaching skills. It includes learning the anatomy and physiology of yoga and choreographing sequences. It is best suited for students who have already undergone a 200-hour course. YTS advanced training consists of a 500-hour program. After completing the basic course, you must teach for at least 100 hours. However, you should never enroll in a RYS 200-hour course unless you already have a 200-hour RYS certificate.

In order to become a yoga teacher, you should have completed at least 270 Contact Hours of training. This includes at least 135 hours of instruction with the lead trainer. The higher the number of contact hours, the more advanced the course is. The more hours you train, the more opportunities you will have to teach. In a competitive yoga world, it’s hard to get a job without proper training.

A well-rounded training focuses on the anatomy, physiology, and philosophy of yoga. As a yoga teacher, you’ll have the opportunity to teach different styles of yoga, and you can register with a yoga association for recognition. Your certificate will include your name, the RYS advanced certification, and your school’s logo. A RYS advanced course will give you the chance to become a certified yoga teacher.
