The Making – Tales of Poseidonia

I want to tell you about the gradual way I did: “The Tales of Poseidonia”. It took me two years and four months to write it, but that’s not what I mean by gradual. What I mean by gradual is the way the preparation was done within me, and how it became what you have read, you may have read or not read, but listen, but what I wrote to be read. I’ll tell, but maybe it sounds too chronological, it doesn’t mean to be, because for the most part it’s relatively new. It was started in the middle of July 2004, and the last words were written on November 9, 2006 (now, of course, revised and revised on 1/2007, so it has a growing history)) again revised 6-2007) .

To begin with, I must say that I have learned to listen, in addition to speaking, and of course I have a lot to say, as every writer should have or why read, write, listen and speak. And so I have read a lot about Atlantis, demons, the underworld, the Manticore, the giants (I even went to Malta to talk to the inhabitants about such legends) and I myself have had some experience in this dark shadow)) and the Tiamat , all the characters in the book: inside the Tales of Poseidonia. How else could I have known everything I’ve written in the novel? (This is not an advertisement for the book; it is a lecture, for the most part, about the book, perhaps even a judgment on its value and credibility.) In other words, that’s how I wrote the book, or wrote this. soon to be book (for the year 2007 or 2008).

I must admit that I always seem to be looking, listening, observing, but that is a way of learning for me, that is, if one has a deep need to learn, it can be a good way to do it: I do it with everyone. around me, and everything around you if you are with me. And I start this project as soon as I get out of bed, every day of my life, to learn what I can put into my head, stories. For the most part, that’s how I feel about it.

Those of you who have read some of the parts of “The Tales of Poseidonia”, and so far, no one has read the entire revised edition, nor has anyone read all twenty-one or twenty-two episodes (or parts), because three were lost, and they were just rewritten, and a new one was added, and only the first eight were published in magazines; so those of you who have read the few that have been available certainly understand what I’m talking about.

When I was young, before my college days, my world travels, my military days, and the Vietnam War I was in, before all of this, I had a desire for fantasy, mixed with reality – HP Lovecraft it was pretty good. in that (although he added a lot of horror, which I don’t like too much), as well as others. However, with fantasy comes real convictions, things you think can really be, ideas, so in those early days I was deeply convinced that some of my fantasies about things were more than just pretend. And sometimes my mind was tremendously occupied in discovering what was behind or within these legends and tales, and what was the line of truth. I read all twenty-six volumes of my encyclopedias three times and in one period (18 months) I read 400 books on the mysteries of the world, to include most religions, demonology, christology, theology, and all zoologies. and ologies I could think of.

In any case, this is how it comes to mind when I look back, and things maybe haven’t changed that much, except now I’m putting them into stories. With all of this in mind, during my college days, I studied psychology, and one of the areas I worked on was dual disorders and behavioral development (and behavior modification; along with drug and substance abuse). I found that he was more interested in his character and the nature of things, and how do you change your behavior, which of course is by changing your reasoning, and can it be changed? How gullible people can be to produce emotions with simple gestures and words. And I even studied higher theology in my graduate work (eschatology), I went to Haiti to see voodoo and Christians mingle. All this, of course, plays a role in the stories, or episodes that I am talking about, in the creation of “The Tales of Poseidonia”, that is why I chose this story among all the others to use as an example, the result end should be somewhere around the word “nature” (human nature/the nature of things).

This is not an experiment; results are expressed in the creation of a book, experiences, activity, interesting things, life, everything goes tremendously on paper, in black ink. Hence, the reader gets to feel the mixture of things, and we all have mixtures, different in each person, according to our history. And in most cases, most of our stories are long, and in creating this story where Ais, the Queen of Atlantis, appears, I think in the third chapter, she’s young and you follow her to the end. And the King of Atlantis, who starts in the first chapter, stops about three chapters before the final chapter, and Ais continues. So we see the story here, slowly. Some sketches were added to the back of the “Untold Tales…” book that really and simply support the above story as they give the reader more of an overview of what happened in the previous chapters.

So here’s a quick look at how I did the story, hope it helps.
