o Cooling System – Your car can quickly become a furnace if the cooling system is not working well. You have to make sure that both the engine and the occupants of the car are protected from the heat. This involves checking for loose connections, proper circulation of coolant and lubricating oil in the engine and air conditioning. This will ensure that your air conditioning does not break down in the middle of the trip.

o Fluid Levels – Make sure all levels of all fluids in the car have been checked and found to be adequate. This includes checking engine oil, radiator and transmission fluid, and brake fluid.
