Do you plan to move? Ask a relocation astrologer

More and more people contact me these days for an astrology reading because they want a new lease on life. That new lease could include a better place to live, start a home business, earn money, or retire.

Sometimes they are just fed up with the area they live in, the people they work or associate with, themselves from staying there too long, the quality of life or lack thereof, and they want to get out of Dodge NOW.

Astrology is a perspective to find your best city, location or place here or abroad. It’s not the only one. I want to point that out. Checking your daily horoscope for entertainment is one thing, making a major life change is another story.

This article is from notes taken recently from a conversation between relocation astrologer Cait Benten, that’s me, and my friend Christine Troward.

Cait, what can people expect from a relocation astrology reading?

When you contact me, I know you want to find your best city or location to work, have a successful career, perhaps start a home-based business, safely raise your family, or retire, so one of the first questions I ask Common crawl en My usual question is, “What is relocation astrology? What do you do?”

What information do you need to do a relocation astrology reading?

Relocation astrology begins with your natal chart, what we astrologers call your natal chart. Where were you born? What was the EXACT time of his birth? Check your birth certificate. I spend long hours moving around his natal chart to find what seem to be his best places in the world to live. It is a long, demanding and tedious process, and it takes many hours to find the best places that match your natal chart.

What about those low-cost computer programs? What are your limitations?

A computer program isn’t going to find what I’m looking for when I’m working on your birth chart. There are too many variables and computer programs are not intuitive. That is why I interview you and ask you what you are looking for in your life, this all happens before your astrology reading begins, which I record and send to you. You listen, then we continue with a session where you ask me all your questions.

As I understand it, your astrology readings don’t tell people that they have to move to a certain place to be successful.

I’ll tell you up front that even your most favorable location will present its own unique set of challenges. Oh, that life was perfect! Before you visit or move to a certain place, I encourage you to count the costs.

Relocation astrology is not about packing up and moving simply because I tell you, “This seems to be your most favorable location.” I encourage you to COUNT THE COSTS before you move in. Are you ready for what will be a big life change? Every move I’ve made has required a period of adaptation and adjustment and I’m sure this will be true for you too.

Moving requires a lot of planning and thought before you pack up and go somewhere, doesn’t it? Moving becomes even more complicated if you move abroad, even though more and more Americans are retiring abroad.

You’ve already moved! Settling in your new area is just the first phase of many new things to deal with, including a decision that may include buying a home, registering your vehicles, finding out where schools are located, and it’s much easier if, when you move, you you already have a job lined up, unless you’re retired. If you are retired, how much will you miss seeing your children or grandchildren? Some handle this problem better than others.

Do you use astrocartography or Vedic relocation astrology in your work? I realize that many people like to get their Astrocartography chart done.

I’m familiar with both systems but over the years I’ve incorporated the best techniques I’ve found. However, I trust my intuition and higher wisdom when looking at a difficult chart. That is the only way to overcome what seems like an insurmountable obstacle in reading a person’s astrology.

Have you ever had the feeling that people want you to make the decision about what they do for them?

I will not do that and neither will any other reputable relocation astrologer. Please see my disclaimer page at http:www.astro-earth-relocation.com and you will see where I am honest in telling you that “WHEREVER we move, our EMOTIONAL SELF travels with us”. Some people, more than others, will need medical, financial and emotional advice and I urge you to use these professional resources if your life situation requires such assistance.

The other day a woman told me: “I want you to send us to a place where my husband does not use drugs anymore.” I gently but firmly told her, “Your husband makes his own decisions in life. I refuse to be responsible for whether or not your marriage works.”

As a relocation astrologer, I will tell you that our lives, no matter where we live, become what we determine to do with them. The wonder of an area depends as much on you and how you treat others as it does on how they treat you. Wherever I go, there you are.

However, a new location can give you a new lease on life. Maybe it’s time, after all these years, to get out of Dodge City and find a place you appreciate and are appreciated.

Do you find that some people fixate on their shapes and resist any suggestions, which is what they are, just suggestions, that you see as a good placement on their chart?

When you call me for a relocation astrology session, I will use everything I know to help you find your best place or city. I’ve had a handful of clients who, after searching and searching for days to find a match for them based on their birth chart or birth chart movement, would say, “I don’t like that spot.” “My kids won’t like it.” My husband says that the people of Tucson are not friendly.” I’ve heard people make judgments about places they’ve never been, a case of being too stubborn about areas they know nothing about.

It’s strange to hear a relocation astrologer admit this, but there have been a handful of people I’ve made birth charts for and there is NO better place for them to live and I’ve told them that. Maybe there’s a second or third best place where they would have a very good life, so I know I’ll be honest with you about my findings.

If I tell you that Santa Barbara looks favorable based on your birth chart or natal chart and you say, “Not Santa Barbara” or “Oh no, not Austin, Texas,” then after pointing out all your best geographic areas, I’ll say: “Use your intuition then. There are no other places I know of to send you.”

Why do you think relocation astrology is a valuable tool, even though you’ve told me before that it’s just one of many tools that could be useful to a person looking for the next place to call home?

Although I am a bit more expensive than some other astrologers, I have been incredibly busy since I started Astro-Earth-Relocation five years ago, so I no longer solicit or advertise for clients.

Is reputation everything?

It helps, but you only build a reputation by doing great work for your clients. Most of my business now consists of word of mouth recommendations from former clients.

Do you tell people they have to move to find success or love, earn money or be happy?

No. Nor do I tell them that they have to make that move on that date. I tell my clients to ask themselves, “What if you were happy right now and didn’t move at all? Would that disappoint you?” Some people are uneasy about the change. That is not a good reason to move. Happiness is an inside job; You must provide your own interior cabin pressure no matter where you live.

I’ll close my article on relocation astrology, which I hope you’ll be curious to try, just to experience this kind of unique astrology reading, with a quote from my friend James Clayton Napier that he uses to open his wonderful article Business and Career. : Meet the ruling star of him, which you can read on the web:

“Meet your Ruling Star. A man [or woman] it is better received by one nation than another, or is welcomed by one city than another. You find more luck in one office or position than another, and all even if your qualifications are the same or even identical. Let every man know his luck as well as his talents. Follow your guiding star and help it without mistaking any other for it. Know how to transplant yourself. There are nations with which one must cross their borders to make one’s worth felt.”
