Disney World Attractions: Some of My Favorite Rides and Shows at Walt Disney World

There are so many great Disney World attractions, but everyone has their favorites and I love sharing my list. At the top of that list is the Haunted Mansion, which was remodeled just a few years ago. It’s always been a very popular attraction at the Magic Kingdom, but now with its updated audio track and fabulous new stair room, I love it more than ever. I always use it at least a few times on every trip to Walt Disney World.

Also, in Magic Kingdom there are Pirates of the Caribbean and Space Mountain. I’m afraid I’m getting a little old for Space Mountain and all those roller coaster bounces, but I’ll never be too old for Captain Jack in Pirates of the Caribbean.

My other two favorites are located at Epcot and Hollywood Studios respectively. There’s Soarin’ at Epcot. This is a great experience that will take you on a simulated hang glider and allow you to travel through the beautiful California landscape. This ride initially opened at Disneyland, but is now available in Florida as well. And finally, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It’s one of the best Disney themed attractions and quite an exciting experience.

But there’s more to Disney World than rides. There are other types of attractions that you should experience. Many of these are shows and two of my favorites are 3-D shows that you shouldn’t miss. The first is Mickey’s Philharmonic at the Magic Kingdom. This is a wonderful nostalgic look at many of Disney’s favorite animated films and a very fun and entertaining show. Also, don’t miss A Bug’s Life at Animal Kingdom. Let the insects invite you into an experience of their world. It’s another fun time and a great place to cool off on a hot day at the parks.
