Battlefield Heroes is created by EA DICE. It’s a casual, cartoony third-person shooter that you can pick up and play during breaks. It is the first of its kind that allows you to play for free online and the game is financed with a micropayment system. That means you can pay for in-game items such as weapons, outfits, and widgets. The system works pretty well and you can still play the game without paying a dime if you want.

What sets this game apart from other war shooters is that your character can level up and increase their special abilities, allowing them to do things that other serious games can’t. The skills your character has depend on the class you choose and there are three classes to choose from. Here are some examples of the abilities, but this is only a limited list.

A commando has the ability to go stealth and become completely invisible from a distance. How close you can sneak up on your enemy before they spot you depends on how high your stealth skill is. There’s also a poison sword ability if you like to stab your enemy in the back and watch them choke to death. The Elixir ability allows the commando to run extremely fast while minimizing damage.

The soldier comes with combat medicine that allows him to heal himself and teammates around him. He can also use fiery bullets which, as his name suggests, burn enemies when shot at. The sixth sense allows him and surrounding teammates to see through walls so they can learn the enemy’s position.

The gunner has the shield ability that gives himself and nearby teammates a shield to minimize damage. An explosive barrel can be thrown at enemies to slow them down and shoot them like sitting ducks. The Gunner also has the I Eats Grenades ability which, when used, can absorb explosive damage to heal itself.

Commando is a lot of fun if you like to sneak around and backstab people or shoot from afar. The soldier is a great support player who relies on strategy to help his team win. The Gunner is a tank on legs with lots of health and ammo. All classes are unique and fun to play. You can create characters for all three classes if you want.

The game is divided into two teams. The Royals, who obviously look like the British Army, and the Nationals, who look like Nazis. You can select which team you want to create a player for and you can also create characters for both teams. The team with 50 kills first will win the game.

There are two ways to purchase in-game items such as weapons, outfits, emotes, and widgets. You can earn Valor Points by completing missions and use them to buy items for temporary use, or buy Battlefunds with real money and use them to buy items for temporary or unlimited use. You can buy items for a day, a week, a month, or unlimited.

There is a wide variety of weapons to choose from. There are short, medium and long range super and super weapons. There is a ship cannon that you can take with you if you are a gunner. There is also a wide variety of pistols and shotguns and sniper rifles. There are also knives and grenades to play with.

The widgets include a fiery bulletproof underwear that will improve your health if you have been hit by fiery bullets. You can buy health tonics to heal yourself on the spot. There is also a key to repair your vehicle. You can buy emotes to taunt your enemies after a kill or use them to communicate with your teammates. My personal favorite is the chicken emote that makes your character wave their arms. The emotes really get on your enemy’s nerves, but they’re a lot of fun to use.

Battlefield Heroes is a blast to play. You can play this game without paying a penny and you will still have a lot of fun. You’ll have even more fun once you earn enough Valor Points or Battlefunds to spend on cool outfits and other items. This game gets two thumbs up from me. Download now and create your character.
