For your boyfriend, his view of flowers might be that they are colored plant parts whose purpose is to help a plant reproduce. So a man who doesn’t love plants just can’t understand how a person can be so crazy about them. His male friends are certainly not enthusiastic about flowers. So if your boyfriend doesn’t buy you flowers, don’t assume he’s being a jerk or that he’s not romantic. Buying flowers for a girl really doesn’t come naturally to boyfriends. Your boyfriend will think that you think his love is not good enough. And when a man thinks he can’t make you happy, he gives him a good reason to leave a relationship.
