The most prosperous and wealthy state in Germany "free state of bavaria" Open an office in Kuala Lumpur

This will be a game changer for Malaysia and Germany/Bavaria.

The Free State of Bavaria was the poorest state in Germany after World War II. Now they are the richest, not only in Germany but also in Europe; this is due to Bavarian’s drive in educational engineering and strategic planning. The State of Bavaria would like to cooperate with Malaysia, share Bavarian knowledge and experience to take Malaysia to the next level.

There are already so many major Bavarian companies in Malaysia: BMW, Infineon, Adidas, Audi, Osram, Siemens, Happy Water, MAN, Allianz, TUM and many more.

Bayern International (German) or Bavaria International (English) have already signed their first MOU with the ECERDC. They decided to cooperate with each other to improve business between the two regions; the first adventure has begun.

Bavaria International is the state agency for promoting international business and has recognized Malaysia as the gateway to the ASEAN and ASIA markets. Bernhard Schutte, President of TAPiO Management Advisory, has been appointed Country Manager for Malaysia.

Together with Datuk Seri Jebasingam Issace John, CEO of the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC), Bernhard Schutte, Country Manager of Bavaria International and Daniel Gottschald, the CEO of TUM International has reached an agreement to bring to the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Malaysia. TUM is one of the world’s leading universities and has already won 17 Nobel Prizes. This University will take Malaysia to a new level of education.

Bernard Schutte:

“Malaysia and Bavaria have many similarities; both were originally agricultural states and have been transformed into high-tech and manufacturing regions. Malaysia’s strategic geographical position is the gateway to the market of more than 4 billion people in Asia. A great advantage is the Malaysian language The skills and the multicultural relationship make Malaysia attractive for Bavarian and German companies.

I see Bavaria and Malaysia as good partners. I would like to see Malaysia team up with German/Bavarian companies. Malaysia and Bavaria together can produce the highest quality products in the world. This will set Malaysia apart from the rest of Asia. We do not want to be known as the country of cheap products, but to be the German/Bavarian/Malaysian standards of the highest quality, just as Germany is known.

We don’t just want to sell our products to Malaysia; this would be a short term thought, instead we like to partner with Malaysia and do long term business together.

Bernhard Schutte will lead the general operations of Bayern International in Malaysia and help Bavarian investors in the ASEAN and Asian territories. With his high-level contacts with corporate, state and semi-state levels, Mr. Schutte will be able to guide German/Bavarian corporations to avoid many mistakes and understand the market quickly.

Based for over 10 years in Kuala Lumpur, Schutte will focus on driving core investment growth as well as enhancing relationship with industry players and key clients covering public and private investments in the Asian region. .

Malaysia is the gateway to enter the ASEAN region with its strategic location on the Asian continent, stable infrastructure and unparalleled language skills. Foreign investors are particularly interested in using Malaysia as their regional operating hub to take advantage of the growing opportunities in emerging Asia, and TAPiO will be able to help these companies avoid common pitfalls and challenges.”
