The hottest lipstick shades for spring-summer

With the new season just around the corner, all the fashion and beauty trends are beginning to vilify on the streets, Pinterest and Instagram.

If you have a fashionable friend or you follow bloggers, they are probably already wearing upside down eyeliner, white shoes, and tiny sunglasses. Let’s not forget the different shades of red lipstick and glossy lips.

Red lips

Okay! Red hot lips are not a new trend because they are classics. But the way we are going to complement our red lipstick this spring-summer is the trend. No cat eyes or heavy eyeshadows, be minimal and put all the focus on your lips.

Lipgloss

I don’t know about you, but the glossy lips take me back to my high school years. The juicy lips of the 90s are back! Rock this trend with little-needed vampire lip color like Phillip Plein’s runway models or go natural with a sheer finish color. I recommend that you apply a lip gloss during the day with a colorful eyeshadow or go with a nude makeup. In the evening, apply a layer of lipstick with lip gloss.

Lipstick

Who doesn’t like a fresh face during the summer? I love to go natural and show off my tanned skin.

Etro and Balmain are some of the designers who proposed a natural makeup for this spring-summer, mascara and lip balm.

Lip blams are perfect for summer because they hydrate your lips. LancĂ´me and Dior lips turn into a pretty, natural shade of pink perfect for a poolside makeup look.

Fun fuchsia

Dolce and Gabbana opted to swap out the traditional, sexy red for a passionate and fun metallic fuchsia. Wear this lip color with a double mascara eye look or with a light pink eyeshadow.

Naked

Nude tones are elegant, minimalist and chic. I love wearing nude lipstick all day. In the evening, add an eye-catching eye like Fendi’s spring-summer 2018 runway.

Orange lips

Orange is probably one of the hardest shades to pull off this year, but it is my favorite trendy color for summer. Orange lips go well with tanned skin, just add some gold highlighter, mascara and you’re ready to party.

No matter the season, fall, winter, spring or summer, the makeup trends of 2018 are all about striking eye makeup, minimalist lips and vice versa. Say goodbye, goodbye to the monochrome red makeup trend and say hello to fun eyeshadow colors with more natural lips.
