Pubic razor burn

Like many modern women today, I shave my pubic hair. Some women do their bikini lines, others leave a design or a runway in the front, and some like to take it all off. I take it all off! Brazilian fan, darling!

But there are some problems with this. Of course there is a bit of a hassle when it comes to maintenance, but I think it’s worth it for that sexy look.

The main problem I have is the dreaded pubic burn. I find these irritated bumps that occur after pubic hair shaving to be the most common pubic mound (or mons pubis). Who is with me in that one? I don’t know if other women are affected in other areas, but this is by far the worst when it comes to post-shave irritation for me.

So what can a girl do with her bumpy private parts? We sure want to get rid of them and feel sexy again, right?

PREVENT PUBLIC BURNS

There are a few things you can do to minimize the chances of you getting stuck with those unsightly red bumps on your lower region in the first place.

  1. Soften hair. You can do this by waiting until you are in the final half of your bath or shower. You can also let the shaving cream, oil, or lotion soak into your hair for a while before you start shaving. Personally, I only use conditioner (yes, hair conditioner) on my pubis, let it soak in for about 2 minutes, and then I get started.
  2. Shave with the grain. This will ensure that the top layer of your skin does not grow over the incoming hair. Yes, the shave won’t be that close, but at least you won’t feel pain the next day. If you’ve ever looked down there at yourself, you’ve probably noticed that as you go in the direction that the hairs grow it changes and basically everything goes crazy there. So if your plan is to stick to shaving in the direction your hair grows, this applies only to the areas where you can really tell in which direction your hair grows. I don’t like doing this personally, and I’ll tell you about a solution below.
  3. Exfoliate regularly. At first, you might think that exfoliating your vagina is very strange. After all, it is a very sensitive area. I only use these salux scrub cloths (my favorite!) To do the pubic wall every now and then. It gives the bulky, curly hairs just under the skin a chance to break through and leave you burn free. Alternatively, you can use a product like the aftershave bump control found here, but I prefer not to have chemicals that might taste strange and interfere with oral sex in my vagina …

MY SECRET TO AVOIDING PUBLIC SHAVING BUMPS

Use an abump combat knife! Or something similar that does not allow to cut the hair and the skin at the same time. This is the solution to shaving with the pimple I mentioned earlier in point 2. It leaves you looking and feeling relatively smooth while freeing you from worrying about burning pubic hair.

I can (and do) shave with this razor every day without causing irritation, whereas the reverse would be true if I used a typical razor.

SAY GOODBYE TO SHAVING THE BUMPS IN YOUR VAGINA!

All things considered, I think it’s worth the trouble to stay soft and sexy down there. I feel more confident and sexy when it’s smooth so I’ll continue to shave everything since pubic irritation is no longer a problem for me.
