Las Vegas Poker Room Intro – Daily, Annual & Free Tournaments

You’ve been playing online poker for a while and you’ve never set foot in a live casino poker room. You may have even put some real money into an online poker account and are wondering what it would be like to sit down with real people at a live poker table. If you’re planning to visit Las Vegas on your next vacation trip, Las Vegas poker rooms are a great place for you to experience first-hand what it’s like to play live cash and tournament games with real people.

With the wide variety of poker rooms available in Las Vegas, you should be able to find one to your liking; one that will hopefully make your first live casino experience a memorable one.

You’ll find that many Las Vegas poker rooms host daily tournaments, with buy-ins ranging from:

$30-$60 (ie Gold Coast, Tuscany, Stratosphere, Excalibur, Sunset Station, Imperial Palace, and Rio All-Suites Casino)

$70-$95 (ie Tropicana, Treasure Island, Monte Carlo, Flamingo, Luxor, Paris, Orleans, MGM Grand and Golden Nugget)

$100-$280 (ie Orleans, Bally’s, Wynn, Caesars Palace, Binion’s, MGM Grand, Venetian, Hilton)

$360-$600 (ie Wynn, Bellagio and Venetian)

$1150 (ie Bellagio)

Throughout the year, some of the major hotels, such as Caesar’s Palace and the Bellagio, also host annual tournaments such as the World Series of Poker (WSOP), the World Poker Tour (WPT), and the Heartland Poker Tour (HPT).

If you can visit Las Vegas for at least 3 or 4 days each in consecutive months, you can also participate in poker freeroll tournaments organized by casinos such as Rio All Suites, Station Casinos, Hilton and Southpoint. The requirements of these freerolls are usually to play a minimum amount of hours in the casino in question to automatically enter the freeroll tournament the following month.
