Kira’s story or Why do we love our dogs?

Why exactly do we like our pets? You probably asked that question many times. And the justification seemed to be more and more diverse, for the simple reason that almost everyone has reasons of their own to love these little or not very little creatures. The story I would like to share with you is definitely not very exclusive. However, on the other hand, the more stories like this turn out, the better the world we are residing in could be.

Almost all my life (since I can remember) I had pets in my home. However, when my family and I moved to another city, it was not easy to have something. Once we’ve really been thinking about a puppy, the central question was basically: Exactly where will it run to every day, where isn’t there a place in the vicinity of our residence for that? So we got a cat as a pet. After a while, she had kittens, so today three cats stay with us.

On the other hand, I really don’t want to talk about these cats anymore. This particular article is about a different living being, a pet dog whose name is Kira.

This specific little dog came to my house 9 months ago as a puppy. He just walked in through the open door and hid under the couch. My brother felt his cold nose on his foot and said, “Since when do we have a dog as a pet in a residence?” Everyone was shocked to hear something like this. So he took the puppy out and showed it to everyone.

We didn’t spend much time deciding to allow this little dog to stay at our residence. Since she is called Kira and everyone loves her as a new member of the family. Only one question in particular remains unanswered: Who was cruel enough to throw this little (probably a month old) dog out on the street? When Kira located us, she could barely eat dry food. I can’t imagine where there are people like that in this whole world. And reviewing Kira, I can easily say that this month of his existence was not the happiest. She is still afraid of people who wear very light shirts and ties.

The first thing Kira did, when she saw a house, was to find the optimal area on the sofa for napping and watching TV. She further made a “friendship” with the cats, after about a week they were done fighting and scaring each other good. It is a very sharp animal. She doesn’t really need to teach it, she seems to sense the “usual conversation” of people’s terminology.

So how can you not adore this pup? He is now about 10 months old and has figured out the schedule for each member of the family and prepares well in advance to welcome them all with bouncing around, licking hands and other displays of happiness and affection.

Unconditional love. Very possibly this is the answer to the dilemma that we raised at the beginning of the post. Simply because no one but them loves us no matter how we search, what we’re currently using, reach people or don’t have a dollar. And the only thing they demand of us is to be close and take good care of them. And this is not much, just play with him from time to time, hit them on the ear, give them a little food, go for a walk.

To be honest, I can’t imagine how it is possible not to love something that looks at you with such faithful eyes.
