Fun things we can do during lockdown to laugh and stay active

So we’re cooped up, stuck in our flats, apartments and houses, and there’s not much to do. Watching TV will give you coronavirus on almost every channel, so what else can you do to lighten the mood a bit?

Well, if you are at home with your family, try these:

he said she said. For this you need a sheet of paper, A4, for each person and a pen for each one. On the top line of each piece of paper, write “Boys’ Names,” leave a line, then write “Met,” then leave a line, and write “Girls’ Names.” The idea is that each person writes the name of a boy or man that everyone knows. , then you fold the paper to cover that name and pass it to the person next to you, and they write the following, which is a girl’s name that everyone will recognize. Then, folding the paper down, the following items are: “in”, that is, they were found in such and such a place, then “he was wearing”, “she was wearing”, “he said”, “She said”, “he answered”, “she answered”, “then they…”

Once each person has written their story next to each item, they fold it, pass it around, and then repeat all this for each item, it is passed one more time, then each person unfolds the paper they have and reads the story out loud. . .

The results are usually hilarious, since it usually goes something like this:

Rafael Nadal puts on Goldilocks in a rugby sevens match. He said, “Do you want to play pool?” She said “How dare you scoundrel!” He replied: “I’m tired of this conversation!” She replied, “The night is still young. Let’s dance.” Then they bought a tent and went camping in the Himalayas.

Because it’s a bunch of different people writing each line, each following their own story, the results are usually a lot of fun!

Broken image: Similar to the previous one. Each person receives a sheet of A4 paper and you draw a person or a being. First each person draws just the head and then folds it so that the two neck lines are visible, to show the next person they pass it to where to continue with the chest and arms. And so on until the feet/legs are done, then you fold it up and pass it to the next person again, and then each person opens it up and shows the rest of the group what they have drawn. Also great for a laugh!

if you’re home alone, you can get drunk on all those time-wasting games that you usually avoid because “I have things to do!” such as Solitaire (on the computer or with real cards!), Soduku number games, logic puzzles, word search games, crossword puzzles, puzzles, code-breaking games (all found in old newspapers you have lying around) and of course Of course, any game you eat off the internet if you have access to that.

You could also write articles like this to encourage other people; there are many Internet sites that will help you do this. You could put your photos on Instagram and see how many people like them, pretty funny.

It’s also good to exercise, and it can be done in a small area. I had a heart attack a while back and I spent a month recovering at home, and I didn’t want to go out because it was winter and I wasn’t sure if I would have another heart attack, but I managed to walk a kilometer in my 3×4 square meter kitchen by using some kind of Figure 8 “track”. Later I also walked 2 km inside the house using a measured route through all the rooms, and it’s not a big house. I’m just saying it can be done!

So don’t be miserable! Get active, stay busy and be ballistic! This lockdown has many advantages, and we can ignore the negatives for now.

Have fun, because you can!
