Chakra Initiation

First of all, let’s see what are those things that so many people call chakras. Although the word “Chakra” means vortex or wheel, we could say that the chakras are centers of energy. They also act as an energy filter, when they are healthy your health is also in good condition, and it is much easier for you to transform negative emotions into positive emotions.

Humans have seven main chakras, which are, from bottom to top:

– Muladhara or base chakra, root – It is red in color and is located at the base of the spine, the first chakra.

– Svadhistana or sacral chakra, sexual – is the second chakra, orange in color, its location is in the sacral area and is linked to the genital organs.

– Manipura or solar plexus chakra – The third chakra, yellow in color, is located in the solar plexus and is related to the digestive system and metabolism.

– Anahata or heart chakra – the fourth chakra is green and is in the chest, with influences on the heart and the immune system.

– Vishuddha or the throat chakra – is the fifth chakra, turquoise in color, located in the neck, which influences expression and communication.

– Ajna or forehead chakra, also called the third eye – The sixth chakra, the color indigo, located in the middle of the forehead, affects the senses, intuition and thought.

– Sahasrara or crown chakra – the seventh violet chakra, located at the top of the head is the spiritual connection with the universal consciousness, the eternal truth.

The chakras can be affected in different ways, from a subtle imbalance to a more serious situation that leads to energy blockages; these conditions can lead to physical health problems, from discomfort in a certain area to something more serious, such as a medical condition.

To unblock, balance, and/or open your chakras, you can combine several methods, including the following:

On a physical level, a healthy diet helps the chakras. The colors that surround us can also influence the corresponding chakras, but a color emphasis should only be maintained for a limited time, so as not to affect the other chakras (here I am referring to artificial colors, do not overdo it by avoiding a picnic in the park because you’re already wearing a green t-shirt).

· On an emotional level, any positive feeling helps to unblock the chakras, the more intense, the more we live it fully, the more the chakras are helped to return to their proper form. Standing around happy, joyful, cheerful people, we receive positive energy from them, and in turn give positive energy.

· On a spiritual level we can use meditation to cleanse the chakras, nourish them and develop them.

Given the multitude of information available for each chakra, I will delve into this topic in future articles. Until then, try to maintain balance in everything you do. It will lead to a healthier body and energy will flow freely through you.
