Some may have heard of the Green Kids who came from below the surface of the Earth and so this may be new to others.

This is considered a legend, but there is always a truth behind every legend. There are several different stories about these children, but they are all similar. In each story a girl about ten years old with a boy a few years younger were found at the mouth of a cave dressed in clothes no one knew about. Some described their clothing as being made of a strange metallic fabric. Her skin was green and the villagers who found them said that the language they spoke was unlike any other they had heard before.

Now, before I go any further with this story, you should know that this legend first began in a village called Woolpit in England in the middle of the 12th century, around 1135 to 1154 AD Woolpit is on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk in Thefford Forest.

The children were taken to a man named Richard de Calne. The people did their best to take care of the children, but they refused to eat or drink anything for some time until they were offered fresh bean stalks. At first the children cried because they thought the stems were empty.
