Tips for first-time Kratom buyers for a worry-free experience

If the sheer number of kratom products available baffles you, you’re not alone. Most users only find their perfect kratom mix after some trial and error. Ask for help, try what’s available, and if you’re not completely satisfied the first time, feel free to learn more and try again.

1) The different strains:

Generally, vines refer to the color of the veins in the plant’s leaf. There are different strains and each one will have its own unique attributes. To choose a strain, ask yourself what effect you’re looking for (such as relaxation, pain relief, concentration, etc.). Once you’ve settled on a strain, choosing the final product is pretty easy. There are 3 colors of central vein:

  1. red strains- The best option for anxiety, relaxation and mild depression. With red strains, you tend to feel a calm gently creeping over you; usually within an hour or so. Its effects also last a bit longer than other strains. It’s different for everyone, but five to ten hours is the norm.
  2. white strains- If you are looking for energy or pain relief, you will notice the effects quickly with the white vein strains. Although intense, it doesn’t last very long, about three to five hours, making it suitable if you want a quick boost or if you take it in the late afternoon. It will help you get through the busy part of your day without keeping you up at night.
  3. green vines-It is also good for energy and pain relief. Very similar to the white strains, except the effects last longer. If you want to take it once and go all day at work, this is the strain you want, but I wouldn’t take it too late in the day as it can interfere with your sleep.

2) Choice of shape and power:

Kratom can be purchased in a few different forms: powder, liquid extract, or capsule form. Each way has its benefits, but in the end it’s a matter of personal preference.

  • Dust- Buying powdered Kratom is perhaps the easiest way to ensure you take the dosage you want. The best way to take the powder is to mix it into a smoothie or protein shake. Make it a small serving though, because you probably won’t like the taste and the faster you can drink it, the better. It can be mixed into yogurt or made into a tea, but the taste and texture don’t make these options very popular.
  • Extract- This way would work faster, but it can also vary a lot depending on the concentration, which can be confusing for some. When you see a number with an ‘X’ next to it, like 25X, that means it’s the equivalent of 25 grams of powder. It does NOT mean that it is 25 times stronger than regular Kratom!
  • Capsule- Probably the easiest way to buy and take Kratom because it hides the taste almost completely. However, it is not recommended unless you want to pay more; sometimes much more. First, the price will be higher simply due to the fact that they have to use the capsules as part of the packaging process. Also, you have to take several capsules, sometimes 8 or 10, since only a set amount of powder can be packed in each one. This means fewer doses per pack, which is going to cost more.

3) Find a trusted supplier:

The best way to choose a good provider is to do your own research by doing a web search, visiting review sites, or asking for recommendations via social media.

  • Visit the sellers website and social media pages. Make sure it looks professional, without flashy ads or annoying popups. (A serious seller or business will not want to skimp on costs to give you a truly wonderful shopping experience.)

  • Please read previous customer reviews (if there are no reviews I would continue) on the provider’s website.

  • Verify that the site uses appropriate security measures to handle your personal and payment information.

  • Find their contact information and return policy. If it’s not featured on the list, it should probably pass.

  • Read the fine print!
