Prophetic Ministry: Scriptural Affirmations to Teach Us Who We Are in Christ

To know who you are in Christ, you must know what God says about you. The Holy Bible tells us to do many things. Notice the number of times we are told to do certain things in the Old and New Testaments. We find the word:

Pray a total of 533 times,

Worship 192 times,

Sing 252 times

Love 468 times,

Say (said) 6684 times.

It gives us an idea of how important it is to be careful what we say! Everything our God created or destroyed, He always spoke first. Said: “Let there be light, and there was light.” Jesus said that the fig tree would never bear fruit again; and was sterile.

The Lord told us to tell the mountains that stood in our way “move and throw yourself into the sea” and it will jump into the sea. (Mk 11:23) Therefore, we have priority to speak God’s scriptures in our circumstances. Here is a list of paraphrased biblical scriptures that we can read aloud 3 times a day until it reaches our spirit. Read this daily for 6 months and you will know your authority in Christ. The smallest Christian child has more power in his little finger than all the power of the enemy.

The Lord always listens to me

Today the Lord has heard my requests and will receive my prayer. Evening, morning and noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and he will hear my voice. For it is written: The righteous cry out and the Lord hears them and delivers them from all their troubles. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them out of them all. I will call on the Lord and he will answer me. He will be with me in times of trouble and will deliver me. The word of God tells me: “Come boldly before the throne of grace” because I am seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenly places. Therefore, I am seated at the right hand of the Father. I have the righteousness of Christ. It is a free gift that Christ has given me so that I can call on the name of the Lord with confidence because I am a new creature in Christ.

Power over the enemy

It is written: I can do everything through Christ who strengthens me. Greater is he who is in me than he who is in the world. No weapon forged against me will prosper. But the Lord will refute every tongue that rises up against me in judgment and will show them that they are wrong. Even demons submit to us when we command them to leave in your Name, O Lord. So in the name of Jesus Christ; I declare that I cancel the assignments of each evil spirit assigned against me and all members of my family. I release the spirit of your charges and command you to turn away from us in the name of Jesus Christ. And, at the name of Jesus Christ, every knee will bow, and God is a God who cannot lie. His words are yes and amen! The demons tremble at the mention of the name of Jesus. I am more than an overcomer for Jesus Christ. It is not with force or power, but with the spirit of the Lord that I can do all things. I am the head and not the tail. The Lord has told me that now the weak say that I am strong … that the poor say that I am rich because of what the Lord has done. I will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at noon. A thousand may fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand, but they will not come near me.

For he who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord: “He is my refuge and my strength, my God in whom I trust.” I will raise the shield of my faith and quench all the fiery darts of the enemy. And it is written: Everything that I bind on earth with my words, then it is also bound in heaven. “If Christ is for me … who is against me?” The Lord can make all grace abound to me. The Lord has blessed me so that I can speak the word in my circumstances and push back all the darkness of the enemy. The word of God is a two-edged sword capable of cutting to the core. I raise my sword. I speak the things that are not; as if they were and then they will happen. I am not moved by what I see. I see with the eyes of my spirit. It is also written that everything I release on earth is loosed in heaven. Therefore, I release the angels of heaven to come out and surround me; and they’ll pick me up and watch over me so I don’t even hurt my heel. My God, I can get through a troop and jump over a wall. The Lord has given me doe’s feet to walk in high places. I have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Jesus said that I will do greater works because he has gone to the Father. And God is a God who cannot lie. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.

Let the poor say that I am rich

I know that according to Deuteronomy 8:18 “It is the Lord, God who gives me the power to create wealth.” Everything I put my hands on will prosper. My God will supply all my needs according to his riches in glory. I give; therefore, good measure is given to me, pressed, removed and overflowing others will give in my bosom. The blessings of the Lord enrich and add no pain with them. The generous man waters and will be watered in his time of need. Because the Lord has said that I can prove it in this; that if I give a tithe of the first fruits of my earnings … he will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that I will not be able to contain it all. And he will rebuke the devourer for my sake. The Lord will personally rebuke the enemy for my sake. Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who delights in his commandments. My children will be brave on earth, and the generation of the upright will be blessed. The riches and riches are in my house and justice remains forever.

Even in the dark, the light dawns for the righteous, merciful, compassionate and just man. The righteous will never be abandoned, nor will their children be seen begging for bread. Although we went through fire and water, you have led us to a rich place. You, Lord, wish above all things that we prosper, just as our soul prospers. You will not deny anything good to those who walk in integrity. We are blessed in our basket. We are blessed when entering and leaving the city. Lord, you said that we will eat the fruit of our lips. That is why I say that I am strong and not weak. I am rich and not poor. I am healthy and not sick. I am not double minded.

Because the double-minded man will receive nothing from the Lord. I trust the Lord with all my strength and I don’t let my mouth speak. I say that even if the vision is delayed, I will wait for it. I will speak of the things that I will receive and I will not doubt or fear. Because your word says that the word that comes out of your mouth will not return empty, but will achieve what you want and achieve the purpose for which it was said.

I will remember that I am accepted in the beloved. “And if my conscience still condemns me … greater is the Lord than my conscience.”
