One such resource is Medscape, which offers a variety of free, high-quality courses on many health-related topics. These courses are also available to non-members for $15. These programs are more affordable than attending professional conferences.

The American Association of Nurse Practitioners also offers a wide variety of CE programs for nurse practitioners. Their CE library includes more than 100 different topics and is completely free. These courses include video and audio materials, and are suited for nurse practitioners who need to fulfill state requirements. AANP also offers several live conferences and a monthly journal.
