Astrology in the 21st century

What is the astrological chart? They are snapshots of specific time segments in our life: past, present, or future. The science of Astrology is present and clearly influenced by the perception of a greater momentum resulting from the intensity of the technological age in which we live. The astrologer must be able to clearly capture and analyze these time segments in whole life. So they can certainly help one to clarify life goals and path in relation to present or future aspirations while in a body on the earthly plane.

Astrology has now evolved, starting at the end of the last century, towards the science of karmic evolution. Therefore, the astrologer should keep up to date and educated using the most modern and correct astronomical mathematics and the zodiac, so as not to mislead others, even unintentionally. To do this, the most authentic and correct Zodiac must be used. As the revelations within SURYA SIDHANTA, VEDANGA JYOTISHA, YAVANA JATAKA, SRIMAD BHAGAVATAM, and PARASURA HORA SASTRA indicate, and with the help of modern astronomy, many modern Vedic astrologers are currently using the Tropical Zodiac in conjunction with an effective Sidereal Ayanamsa. This must be used for full accuracy. Full sidereal calculations (used by most Indian / Vedic astrologers today) do not necessarily reflect true Vedic astrology. Mathematically it was correct about 2,600 years ago. However, due to the Procession of the Equinox, the results have changed but are hardly taken into account, especially in India and by other western Vedic astrologers. Even today, there is an ongoing and sometimes heated debate between sidereal and tropical astrologers.

The contemporary Vedic master astrologers of the 21st century, after extensive research and discovery, are now using the Tropical Zodiac in conjunction with the Sidereal Ayanamsa, which was the original intention of the ancient Vedic masters such as Parasura Muni. Research and practice have also been accomplished with the Ayanamsa calculations by the leading Vedic astrologers of the 20th century. Sri Yukteshvara (Sri Yogananda’s guru), one of the most respected Vedic astrologers of his time, tried to present and reinstate the corrected zodiacal astronomical calculations (using the Tropical Zodiac, including the Sidereal Ayanamsa) to the Indian government, but failed in his attempts due to politics. and the resistance of other Indian astrologers who are unwilling to admit past miscalculations or change their techniques.

Smart, open-minded and courageous Vedic astrologers currently use the tropical zodiac with the Vedic interpretation system, as well as an effectively researched sidereal house and Ayanamsa system. Unfortunately for many sidereal Vedic astrology followers, students, and clients, outdated practices result in many errors and a much lower prediction success rate, due to miscalculated tables. An astrologer, in this age, using only the correct mathematical calculations and the latest astronomical calculations, including ancient and advanced Vedic astrological techniques, aimed at correctly capturing and analyzing important segments of time (past, present and future). Only then is the astrologer qualified to examine the astrological realm and eliminate accurate knowledge of events and character. Because our life is so precious, we shouldn’t settle for anything less than the best and the right. Open and educated astrologers stay at the forefront of knowledge to work accurately within the astrological realms of the cosmos. Therefore, they can accurately describe how the astral bodies work to reveal the life force of the individual seen through the horoscope.

The table is initially nothing less than the karmas that we brought into this life at the time of our birth. The job of an astrologer is not only to reveal the psychological attributes and patterns of these karmas, and based on these facts to explore one’s life path (love, association, career, etc.). So the graph can act as a guide and make predictions possible. Most importantly, however, is that through the astrological process, the chart creates an awareness of our true purpose on earth and reveals the karmas that help or obscure our relationship with the Universe and ultimately our happiness, even in the earth. This astral knowledge can be obtained from someone who is linked to that Source through the intensity of their spiritual practices. Therefore, the astrologer must not only be an expert in his astrological knowledge, more importantly, through the revelations of the chart, he must help guide the consciousness of the individual towards spiritual liberation.
